Warranty
Ploom Inc ninety (90) day Warranty Information
Ploom Inc warrants this Ploom-branded device against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Ploom will either (1) repair the product defect, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or is at least a functionally equivalent product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product.
Exclusions and Limitations
The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by Ploom Inc, that can be identified by the “Ploom” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Ploom products. This warranty does not apply to: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, acts of piracy, or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses as described by Ploom; (c) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Ploom; (d) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic.
Return Policy
Returns require a return authorization number for processing. A return authorization number can be obtained by emailing us at help@ploom. This return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package upon return. Returns can only be accepted within 90 days from the purchase date. For backorder items, returns are accepted within 90 days from the shipped date.
Return Instructions:
- Contact us at help@ploom or visit ploom.com/support and report the issue.
- If we determine that your model One or Pods are defective, we will issue you a return authorization number and shipping instructions.
- Pack the items to be returned securely using the original packaging material (if possible).
- Please enclose the following: a) your original invoice, b) name, address, contact telephone and email address.
- Clearly mark the return authorization number on the outside of the package.
If you receive an order from us that is damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us immediately.
Please note: damaged or missing merchandise must be reported to us within 72 hours of the date of delivery. Failure to do so may result in the claim being denied by the shipping carrier and exclusion from our return/exchange policy. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our policies.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is applied to orders that are shipped to the state of California. California state sales tax is 9.50% (plus additional county surcharges where applicable).
The sales tax rate is subject to change at any time.
Payment Options
We accept the following major credit cards issued by U.S. banks: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
We're sorry, but at this time we do not accept cash, checks, money orders or credit cards issued by foreign (non-U.S.) banks.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase our products.
Shipping:
Orders usually ship out within 1-2 business days.
Orders that include Butane ship by UPS Ground only.
All orders ship to the continental Unites States. We currently do not support international orders, including Canada.
All orders within the continental United States are shipped via UPS or USPS (US Postal Service). The shipping time is 1-5 business days depending on your geographic distance from us and the method of shipment you choose. All orders are shipped from San Francisco, CA.
Orders shipping to P.O. Boxes, APO Addresses, and Alaska and Hawaii ship via United States Postal Service (USPS).
