Ploom Inc. ninety (90) day Warranty Information
Ploom Inc. warrants modelOne against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Ploom will either (1) repair the product defect, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or is at least a functionally equivalent product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product.
Exclusions and Limitations
The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by Ploom Inc, that can be identified by the “Ploom” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Ploom products. This warranty does not apply to: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, acts of piracy, or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses as described by Ploom; (c) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Ploom; (d) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic.
Pax Warranty Details
10 Year Ltd. Warranty Information
Ploom, Inc. warrants Pax against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ten (10) years from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a physical defect arises and a claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Ploom will either:
(1) Repair the product defect, (2) Exchange the product with a product that is new or is at least a functionally equivalent product, or (3) Refund the purchase price of the product.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to normal performance degradation of batteries or neglecting to adhere to cleaning instructions.
Exclusions and Limitations
The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by Ploom, Inc. that can be identified by the “Ploom” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Ploom products. Warranty applies to original end-user purchaser only. Warranty does not apply should you purchase through a 3rd party reseller such as eBay and Craigslist. Warranty is non-transferable. Warranty only applies to devices purchased at any authorized retailer serviced by an authorized Ploom distributor. Warranty is only serviceable in the US and Canada. As Pax is only available for purchase in the US and Canada, Ploom is only set up to service warranty issues in these locations. Pax is not currently available in the UK / Europe.
Intentionally opening up or disassembling your device in any way will void your warranty.
Warranty Return Instructions:
- Visit ploom.com/support and report the issue.
- If we determine that your Pax, modelOne or Pods are defective, we will issue you shipping instructions.
- Pack the items to be returned securely using the original packaging material (if possible).
- Please enclose the following: a) your original invoice, b) name, address, contact telephone and email address.
Damaged/Incomplete/Incorrect Orders
If you receive an order shipped from Ploom that is damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us immediately. Please note: damaged or missing merchandise must be reported to us within 72 hours of the date of delivery. Failure to do so may result in the claim being denied by the shipping carrier and exclusion from our return/exchange policy. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our policies.
